WINDY 44 CHINOOK NAMED ‘EUROPEAN POWERBOAT OF THE YEAR’ AT BOOT DUSSELDORF

The Windy 44 Chinook hard-top sports cruiser has been named ‘European Powerboat of the Year’ in the under 50ft category at the 2009 Powerboat of the Year Awards, sponsored by Boot magazine.

Boasting rakish good looks and a top speed of 38 knots, the 44 Chinook is the only sports cruiser of its length to offer three double cabins. Vacuum injection moulding of the hull, deck and all major GRP components has resulted in a lighter, more fuel efficient hull, and reduced carbon emissions.

SEARAY RE-LAUNCHES THE PACHANGA 22

The Pachanga® redefined sport boat styling when it was launched in 1969. In fact, the low-profile classic proved so popular that a revamped version was introduced in 1986. Called the Pachanga II, it boasted remarkable power, six full-length lifting strakes and an innovative swim platform that was moulded into the stern of the boat rather than attached externally. The 50th Anniversary Pachanga combines the dynamic looks and performance of the '86 edition with the latest in quality construction and technology.

After many years looking after our client’s boats in our present yard, we are finding that the boats are getting BIGGER and BIGGER. Only one thing for us to do - get BIGGER - and that is what we are doing. We have purchased the land adjacent to us and have doubled the size of our storage and service area whilst providing more sales area and car parking. This will also give us the opportunity to keep more stock boats and new Sea Ray models.
